About Sandstorm Cyber

Sandstorm Cyber was founded out of a need to bring cybersecurity back to what matters: clear thinking, useful decisions, and work that actually improves protection. I created the firm in 2020 because too much of the industry had become complicated, noisy, and disconnected from execution. Strategy matters, but only if it can survive contact with reality. A roadmap matters, but only if teams can deliver it. Technology matters, but only when it is the right technology, for the right problem, at the right level of maturity.

My background as a former CISO in financial services, media, and telecommunications, combined with more than 20 years advising many of Québec’s major organizations, shaped the way Sandstorm Cyber works. We do not start with tools. We start with the business, the risk, the operating reality, and the decisions that need to be made. From there, we help CISOs, executives, and operational teams move from strategy to delivery with focus and discipline. The outcome is better protection, less waste, stronger execution, and cybersecurity investment that creates real value.
